I've been up since 5:30, and that was sleeping in. I do not have to go to work today, but I have a long list of chores and projects to do. I hope the baby thinks that cleaning out the laundry room is entertaining.
Let us not even talk about tomorrow, when I have to go to the DMV. Ptui!
This is not a morning of good things. I demand a do-over, and one that involves a lot more sleep.
Double word! Clio woke me around 5 and I finally fell back to sleep about 10 minutes before my alarm went off. Work smells like there's been a heating oil spill. And yet we sit here, inhaling noxious fumes.
I just scored a random call from Colin in answer to an early morning email. So I guess I keep this bit. But more sleep would be still be great.
Yikes. Sounds like I'm having a better morning than most of y'all, but I'm okay with a do-over.
Yeah, my morning is fine so far, but many of the rest of you -- sheesh!
My cube is on the third floor, and on windy days you can hear the building creak as it sways back and forth.
Better than being on the 50th floor, where you can feel the building swaying, I suppose.
I was up at 1:00 and then Noah was up at 2:00. He and I fell back asleep but woke at 4:00. Now we're up for good.
I did many of the letters of rec for the common ap that I was supposed to do. In fact, all of the online ones are done.
I'm meeting my father outside (bad plan!), so am trying to fit my timing in the perfect spot between getting there before him and waiting around a long time. Luckily, we're apparently at today's high right now. Single digits by tonight!
I have no dairy like products in the apartment right now, so I have to decide if I want to skip the coffee until I get to work, or have the coffee without dairy product.
I need a dairy product fairy.
