Yankee Candle usually gives me a big old headache, and I give their stores a wide berth.

This is Abercrombie and Fitch. But without anything redeeming. My Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Shampoo (which K loves) is almost done. I think I might try the lavendar mint instead as it must be more moisturizing and less stripping my hair.

I don't think I've been in a A&F in recent memory. I have an unnatural fondness for non-sweet lavender scents. As long as they are spicy. Mom complains they smell of old lady, but like all the ones I have, so I'm guessing she's thinking of the sweet versions.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

In other words, I'm trying to tempt you to come and visit.

It is tempting. I feel tempted.

I also love the aquarium! So no fail there! I actually was thinking about taking the train over to Albuquerque for their zoo/fishes/botanical garden during break.

Poor Ms. Louise.

And bleargh to family drama, ita. It's too bad it has to happen around stuff like that, but it isn't uncommon.

A&F smells like date rape and beer. Or at least the scent that they blast from their stores does. I doubt that they would name their cologne that, but that's what it smells like to me.

I want to take the train to Albuquerque for spring break. That would be AWESOME, but too expensive for us.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Man, the soundtrack for Gladiator sounds exactly like the soundtrack to PotC. Zimmer, but you'd think he knew more than one theme.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

A&F Woods (or Date Rape) was *the* scent for guys in high school. I used to walk in there and take a deep whiff any time I was at the mall. Now, NSM.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My mother asked me to pick up some Anais Anais for her for this weekend. Luckily she changed her mind, so I don't have to venture near a perfume section. Of course, my mother has no sense of smell, so I could have filled the bottle with water. But she still wears and uses scented stuff.

Zimmer, but you'd think he knew more than one theme.

I don't have a good ear, but I would swear he didn't bother to write anything new for the sequels.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Maybe American Apparel will take up the challenge.
