Yeah, but you're an amateur fry cook and I come from a long line of fry cooks that don't live past 25.

Its actually hot here for once.

ION, someone at Trader Joe's has clearly been lurking here since they had frozen cherry clafoutis and a big display of prosecco and peach nectar. (I skipped the peach since I have a lot of frozen mangoes, but succumbed to the other two.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Recent random/stupid revelations: The green girl from Star Trek is from the Inside. Also, that one guy from Harper's Island is from Eureka.

You're welcome.

My life at the moment: [link] [link]

Still restless. After potting the stuff from Home Depot, walked over to the hardware store (yes, I see the irony) and picked up a few more things and another plant. Kinda love walking as much as I can. One of the things I did every day while on the trip was a long solo walk, on top of all the treks. I'm gonna try walking over to the lake tomorrow.

Kitty seems to approve of the deck.

Oh, he does! He tries to eat the plants and sneak over to my neighbor's deck (she has even MORE plants) but is otherwise well behaved on it, and likes hanging out there with me.

Our dalmatian is SO happy right now and doesn't yet know why. She gets pretty cold in the winter, and we've talked about getting her a sweater, but -- dog!Snuggie is perfect!
