T knows the word NO better than Noah did a few weeks back

Noah knows the word No. He just doesn't like it and doesn't care to have it applied to him. To you, sure, but No is not for Noah.

In spite of not buying anything for the children for xmas this past month or so, we have a mountain of gifts beneath the tree. Last year, we had gifts that were too old for either him or Grace so they were re-wrapped and put out. Might be true again.

I am about to go down and get mac's gifts. I am trying to decide if any of them get left back there. I am not sure I can, I tried to scale back a lot this year. He already has 3 new Bionicles from other sources, so the two more from me will be anti-climatic. I just want this all over. BRING ON EASTER!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm at work right now; half day today.

My presents are all wrapped, but I want to see if I can go and find some fancy bows and stuff for them.

I kind of want Christmas to be over, too. I've been depressed as hell, seeing my family always stirs up issues for me, and my therapist is out until January.

I'm looking forward to Christmas this year. I am ready for the new year to start already.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

SO who else has to work today? I work the full day, but I'm guessing they'll let me leave a few hours early.

Since my family already celebrated Christmas, I have nothing to do tonight or tomorrow. Weird. Maybe I'll do a Jewish x-mas and catch Chinese food and a movie....

eta: "due" instead of "do"? My brain is tired.

I think we may see a movie tomorrow, kinda depends how early he gets to bed.

I'd love to see Sherlock Holmes. It won't happen tomorrow.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I thought I was looking forward to Xmas, and got a start on shopping relatively early (for me), but the closer it's been coming, the harder it has gotten. I meant to watch a bunch of Holiday favorites, and I haven't seen a single one. Since I'm pretty much heading to Maine from work (with a detour to get the car), I won't get a chance to now.

Oh well, I'm on for my usual trip out to see the Xmas lights with my brother and his wife tonight, and we'll end up at one of my sisters for dinner. Hopefully that will help.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm working most of the day today. But I think I can leave a bit early. Still have some errands to run.

My sister has decided she's cooking tomorrow. Spare ribs. I'll do the morning egg nog. And we're seeing a movie.

And we're done. That took all of 10 minutes for him to open everything.

I think I will call a neighborhood friend and see if we can go over to see her today. I have a gift for her, but also some stuff of hers to return. Might as well try to do something productive.
