No studying? Damn! Next thing they'll tell me is I'll have to eat jelly doughnuts or sleep with a supermodel to get things done around here. I ask you, how much can one man give?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Dinner was homemade chicken pot pie. It was warm and comforting.

OK, so my dad's grazing habits and the fact he leaves debris in his wake drives me crazy even not in my own house. Good to know!

Need to get offline, dinner prep.

Kids cute. Exhausting. Had about 50032311345 rounds of figuring out the difference between birthday and xmas eve (none) and xmas day and which presents will be opened when. OY.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I want to go to a tiki steakhouse. Instead I'm having a Morningstar chicken patty and frozen veggies (edamame, blackbeans and peapods - frozen veggies have moved way beyond cali blend recently, thank god).

But I got most of my xmas shopping done, have at least vague plans for meals the next few days, and have the evening to myself before family descends tomorrow. Could be worse.

frozen veggies (edamame, blackbeans and peapod..)

OK, while those sound very good they are biologically rather than nutritionally vegetables. Like a meat n' three in the South where red beans and rice with sausage is classified under "vegetables", as are sweet potatoes.

Well, the peapods count. Also carrots, which I forgot to mention.

Or banana pudding or mac'n'cheese or... At one local restaurant you can get a 4 veggie platter without any veggies.

Bummed about Sarandon and Robbins.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

From what I've read he's just not out to the media. But he's out to the industry and they're raising a family. That's not good secret-keeping.

Oh, it's his right to pull the "I don't discuss my personal life" bit in interviews even after his ex has confirmed it's them making out in the photos spread 'round the internet. I'm just saying the impulse to do so isn't something I find attractive in a hypothetical husband. Or friend-with-benefits for that matter.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

ita, I'm sorry about your cousin.

Tomorrow we head to Florida to spend the long weekend with my folks. Fun, fun, fun...

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I have no idea how I am going to get presents up to the house. mac is so hyper-vigilant right now. they lock the elevator to the basement at 8 (so now) and I am always a little freaked out to leave the house when he is asleep, but I guess I should just do that and run like a madwoman around outside through the gate and to the downstairs door.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

One of the tiny snowmen I made at the CTA station yesterday is still there, with an added skin of ice from the freezing rain. Yay!
