I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

don't wanna be at work.

might as well get started on today's pile. At least a large chunk of these are straight forward.

I am not in the mood for work either... the boss is at home working on her thesis, and I hope the Dean lets us go early.

msbelle and sophia, may your days go by quickly.

I didn't sleep well and I'm in a hideously irked-with-me mode.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think I drifted back to sleep for at least a little, because I seem to have had a dream, but mostly I ended up puttering around the apartment or tossing and turning for hours. I'm not irked at me, but I'm irked. And I'm picking up my sister this afternoon, so I don't get alone time to act irked like I normally would. Tired-but-not-sleepy is a most counter-productive sensation.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My job is closed today, which is nice. I mean, for people who had to go in and not-work Monday and Tuesday, as opposed to me, who could not-work in my own home.

I woke up at 3 am and knocked over a glass of juice all over my bed! I thought I would just stay up, but ended up falling asleep on the sofa at about 5:00, which is always difficult because I have to be up by 6:00. I actually had a dream I was at my mothers' house trying to get to work, but I woke up too late for the bus (my mother's house is in the country, and their is no bus) so I was trying to take one of the cars that I had kept in the back yard. When I asked my mother about them, she looked at me like I was crazy. Then, in the dream, I realized the cars were actually a recurring dream and I had no way to get to work. And then I woke up.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

FCM: Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, Jared Padalecki.

Stop chucking PADDYWHACK! No wait, just chuck him my way. Mmmm... [link]

I'll take the Depp, too.

Late again to work, uggh. Snoozing is my superpower. It's going to be a slow kind of day.

I finished re-reading a Hope in the Unseen. It's about a kid who goes to Brown out of a crappy terrible public school in DC and the sheer number of hurdles you encounter when you try to make that leap.

An interesting aside is his friendship with Bill Ayers' (yes, the "terrorist" who people tried to use to derail Obama's campaign) son Zayd. The first time I read the book, I had no idea who Ayers was, but now I was like, "WAIT. Really?"

I just saw an old Law & Order about that! Of course, in that case, someone ended up getting killed...

Especially funny if you saw Sam Bee's Daily Show piece on the White House ornaments, but still funny anyway: Hedda Lettuce, Mao Tse-Tung on White House Christmas Tree. Simon Doonan (my favorite) is apparently responsible...
