Now tagless for your comfort.

I made crab cakes for dinner. I'm highly recommending Zatarain's crab cake mix for a quick & easy recipe for the cakes.

brillig

And now they're comparing the contents of their desk drawers and debating the usefulness of each item in their upcoming stabbing rampage.

And talking about local Korean restaurants and explaining Korean food to the novices. And debating whether mutt or pedigree dog would taste better. something about pedigrees being stringy. I'm disturbed by the one guy's air of knowledge.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

you should look for a place that does electronics recycling

I have a faint yet hopeful feeling the Goodwill near me might accept electronics. But, man, the amount of tech crap I see dumped (but not in! They know they're being bad) our dumpster...and the pizza boxes in the recycling bin. Why can't people behave?

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Watching the "Yes, Minister" Christmas sketch is one of my Christmas traditions. It never fails to make me laugh. In previous years I posted a transcription, but now it is available on YouTube: [link]

I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Does anyone here know anything about memory foam bed toppers? Specifically if perhaps heavier people should buy the thicker toppers? I am hoping to avoid buying a new mattress, because, man, does my back hurt when I wake up. It probably doesn't help that my bed is also used as my sofa, so it gets a lot of use, and I am pretty heavy.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Sophia, I bought a memory foam mattress topper for those same reasons, and I love it. My back doesn't hurt in the morning anymore. I am also heavy, and I recommend the thicker one.

msbelle, if anyone deserves to go to bed at 9, it is you.

Thank you Zenkitty- I was thinking of getting the thicker one, but wanted some justification that it was worth the expense. My mattress is about 10 years old, but the one before that was my first big girl bed that I had for 26 years!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

So the person who was supposed to come pick me up about 5:00 so that I could get back to the dealership before the loaner car person left at 5:45 seems to be MIA.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Guy: I do, I love food.

This reminds me of the scene in Julie & Julia when Julia is talking with her husband about what she likes to do, and she says with her typical brio, "Eat!! And I'm very good at it, too!"

I got part of my Christmas present from Mom in a box from Amazon, and decided to open some of them since they were wrapped in blue corduroy bags (very nice ones, too!) and I could figure out what they were. A 12" cast iron skillet is a bit hard to disguise when it's inside a cloth bag, and the lid goes with it. Boy, are they heavy when they're together!!

(I actually know what else was in the box since I mistakenly opened the shipping list that was in the envelope that said right on the cover "Do not open until after you open your presents!" But I didn't tell Mom and won't open them until Xmas Eve.)
