Has anyone tried renting toys? NPR was discussing babyplays com today, and the whole idea of not having a bunch of toys that I have to find a new home for appeals to me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Can someone please explain to me why my abs are so supremely sore? I have not done anything particularly energetic or taxing, but this has been creeping up on me since yesterday. I'm now more curious about this than the cuts on my hands.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

ION, I am in the office alone today, I have something I have to finish today, and my brain isn't working.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The last time I checked their prices, Sparky, I figured I could buy used and resell on CL for less than the cost of the rental.

Because books.

Also, I sometimes donate used stuff in good condition to a church nursery school or even my pediatrician for the waiting room.

I woke up today with my left wrist sore as heck. Nothing kinky was going on but, man my wrist is not happy.

SuperShuttle has been ordered for Wednesday am. And now that I look at the weather report, we are supposed to be getting some snow Tuesday night/Wednesday morning (I know, nothing like the east cost SNOWPOCOLYPSE) and I wonder if I should call and move up the pick up time.

Factoring my natural laziness and hatred of CL people who don't show up, it still might be worth it for us in mental health costs.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Some people just came and looked at my apartment -- we had gotten a notice under the door that outside people would be coming into each apartment, but they literally just looked around and left. I'm guessing potential buyers? Which makes me wonder what that would mean for my lease...

Apparently we're getting schnitzel and spaetzel for lunch today. They're gonna have to roll me out of the office.
