weary. truth be told, I am weary. don't even want to get into our morning.
Now a playdate is at our house and I have to decide when the snow get bad enough that I have to end it (I really want to just call the parents and ask for a sleepover, but I don;t think this kid would go along with that).
Until then, I am finally getting around to cutting up the caramels I made on Thursday, wrapping them all in wax paper and being crafty getting them ready for teachers.
I wish y'all were my neighbors and could come over and help and be company.
I promised Dylan he could go out in the snow after his nap, but then I put on inside pants and I think I'm too comfortable to leave the house. Oops.
I wish I were a neighbor too. I'm having my typical omgsobored reaction to it being nasty out.
I guess I could do my nails. Pointless to mop the downstairs until I stop having to shovel. Laundry must wait until tomorrow. Ditto packing.

why?
lunchbreak.
Looks like I will have around 88 caramels. so 10 for each teacher and 8 for the afterschool teachers. OR I could make toffee after I get these wrapped and make everything go further.
Cause there's stuff I still want. And it isn't as if I have a lot to do tomorrow.
My upstairs balcony is almost full. Um. I wonder if I should shovel that. I'd have to get the door open, first.
Sandra Bullock is the opposite of scary. She keeps making crap films, but still gets hired. Unthreatening but lovely.
Yeah, I should have come to the post office sooner. The automated line is pretty long. And it's so easy to be judgy about how long people spend at it. So far, barring the first couple, not too bad.

you know how pushy I can be. I have been known to just go up and give people instructions.
We already had one guy do that. The woman couldn't even work out how to get started. I'm not sure what it is about not reading.
My neighbor just asked if I could take a shipment for him while he's away. I love my neighborhood.
If Keillor doesn't like what UUs have done to Silent Night (which, if he isn't singing in German, he needs to shut the fuck up about changing the lyrics), he should come to one of the Easter services and learn what we've done to those hymns. "Lo the Earth Awakes Again, Alleluia" to the tune of Lyra Davidica and the underlying rhythm of Charles Wesley spinning in his grave in 4/4 time.
