I've shovelled the walk. Kind of a losing battle at this point. While I am all suited up, going to go out with the camera and take pictures. Might see if Ace is open and if they have any salt.... My front steps will be scary.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

The snow is insane! People were actually out Christmas shopping this morning! Thank you Amazon. It's still coming down. Only question for me is - creamy chicken rice or fish chowder for supper?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I need to make an appetizer for a party thing tomorrow and I don't want to go outside. I have some eggs, bulk italian sausage, ground pork, carrots, celery, parsnips, pastry fixins, canned crushed tomatoes, frozen spinach, coconut milk, lentils, onions, garlic, pecans, a variety of citrus fruits...milk, half and half, heavy cream, chicken broth, buttermilk... other stuff. I am uninspired! Some kind of pork pie? Meatball? Sausage... thing? I have a zillion habanero peppers too, which would be good to use. Spicy thai thing with pork and coconut milk?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Sausage rolls? Some kind of quiche or frittata?

ETA: I'm trying to figure out something for a work potluck on Tuesday also. Am feeling very uninspired.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Just be slackers like me! I still got to eat the food. Total user.

I need to make a post office run. I shouldn't be delaying it further, but at least I hope I can just use the machine and dropoff slot.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

It took me about 1/2 hour yesterday at the post office, using the machine.

I should be going to a staged reading in about an hour, but I'm filled with sloth. I'm feeling inclined to curl up on the sofa and read while the snow falls outside. Of course I also need to make a Target run for birthday giftwrap.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am filled with hate for the cookies I just took way too long to decorate not all that well. Now I have to get dressed and get out of here. Argh.

Oh, thank god. I don't have to go (back) out in the snow. They just shut down public trans. here, and that's what I was going to use since ain't no way my little car is going to pass our unplowed street. And the plowed one is within eyeshot; very frustrating. Tomorrow morning should be interesting.

Now I have untold hours ahead of me to unpack and do laundry. Yay!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Wow, an active male rugby player came out. That takes serious stones.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I just had a moment of "but all the rugby players I know are out!"
