Well heck. Just got a Christmas card addressed to my mom from an old friend of hers. So now I need to send her some kind of note. Crud. "So sorry, but she passed away 6 months ago". I don't know how to phrase this. And I'm worried there are others I missed telling back in June.

I feel like a genius for rolling out a pie crust between two sheets of saran wrap and cutting it up into the sizes I need while it was still all enwrapped so I could stack all the pre-wrapped sheets in the freezer. If this is something everyone has been doing for forever, please don't tell me!

So question: when it starts to look like my road is becoming impassable, do I move my car to the Y lot and hope it doesn't get towed or plowed or something? It'd be a short walk away, right off a road that will be plowed.
