Um, well, we listened to aggressively cheerful music sung by people chosen for their ability to dance. Then we ate cookie dough, and talked about boys.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson weathered their infidelity stories much better.

Scandals that aren’t out of tune with a celebrity’s image are often surprisingly easy to bounce back from: after images of Kate Moss snorting coke surfaced, her bookings fell, but, over time, they went up. Revelations that Michael Jordan had lost hundreds of thousands of dollars gambling barely dented his appeal, since the story reinforced the image of him as a fierce competitor. But scandals that conflict with a person’s public image can wreak havoc. And it’s hard to think of a scandal that’s more discordant with an image of focus and discipline than this one.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Bon, this wasn't someone at my house, was it? Because I sincerely hope I don't know anyone like that....

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I think the middle two are placentas.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

bon, you were having a conversation with Patrick Bateman?

Argh! I was about to back up my iPhone, but dropped one end of the cable in my cup of tea. I wonder how long it will take to dry?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Not your party, scrappy! At your party I talked to Alibelle about how awesome Bat Masterson apparently is.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I wanted to talk to him all night, because I suspect I would learn about every item in his closet and every car he ever owned and every country he ever visited or owned a villa in by the time we finished on Thailand alone.

Yeah, that sounds fantastic, for a one-time-only party conversation.

Add all that up and they're now talking about 10 to 20 inches of snow for Baltimore before it all ends. The special bonus will be the winds - 10 to 20 mph, with gusts of 25 to 30 mph, which will keep the snow moving around after its plowed and reduce visibility. Travel, as they say, will be "extremely treacherous."

Flight leaves 10 am sunday. Possibly.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I can't figure out WTF those shapes are

The first one looks like a sideways wood trim from a dresser, the second looks like a sideways onion dome, the third like a sideways headboard for a bed, and the fourth like a sideways cloud with one flat side.

What that has to do with holidays or flooring, I have no idea.
