"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

My work drama at this point is multi-tiered:

1. There's the I don't want to go to school usual drama for tomorrow.

2. There's the girls in my class trying to Alpha-Girl me drama which I am DONE with.

3. There's the my school is losing 3 more teaching positions in January drama.

4. Which leads to my question about how viable such a school is in the future drama (which is true as district enrollment keeps falling).

5. Which leads to a convo a group of teachers and I had at school in the past two days about either converting to a charter at our site or just plain starting a charter.

I feel like my weltschmerz has killed Natter.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think East Coast bedtime might have killed Natter... Good luck w/all that drama!

Enh. Nothing I can do about it. Though my blood pressure today was 148/105, which might explain the dire neck pain and my inability to shake a 10 day headache.

One more day then three weeks off. I can survive that.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Kat, mine killed Bitches earlier today. It happens. Although bedtime is a more likely explanation. I wish you much luck getting through tomorrow and a very relaxing vacation.

Speaking of bedtime, I'm off. Night, y'all.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just realized that probably the Hershey's kisses I've been eating all evening are the cause of my lack of sleepiness. Oops.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

The panels with Kate Mulgrew at DragonCon were full of women who told her that her character inspired them to go into science.

There needs to be a word for expressing how awesome it is that something happened, yet sad that it was an issue to begin with. That is how I am feeling.

But it's fantastic they went into science.

FCM: Gareth David Lloyd Gerard Butler Gerard Way

You evil bitch. F Gareth David Lloyd (oh, I was so set to M him until I got to the end), C Gerard Butler and M Gerard Way.

Unless the choice is F Gerard Way (and wife, yes), C Gerard Butler and M Gareth David Lloyd. Maybe the F was approved extracurricular for the Ways and then there are two happy couples at the end.

I overthink these...

A lot.

Also I fear Jilli. But no way am I chucking Gee. I will just see if I can run faster.

My office doesn't show much geekitude, unless you count my copy of The Deluxe Transitive Vampire.

That book is filed in the "stuff near me because it's all useful and shit" area. Along with dictionaries and the thesaurus. And the monkey from Wonderfalls. Because I listen.

No takers on the 13 year old? He will vacuum for food.

I already have one of those that I am trying to avoid getting full-time.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

This is a neat photo: [link] Presuming I'm translating the title properly (Vader en kind met kerstboom) as Father and child with Christmas tree, it makes me think that people in the Netherlands weren't at all surprised when Darth Vader said, "Luke, I am your father."
