My officemate decorates with despair.com posters, Me? I'm a slob. I decorate with messy piles, assorted work freebies and awards and shameless pictures of me with the rover.

Good lord. The water main break? Is bad enough they're putting the city and counties (B'more, Arundel and Hartford) under water conservation orders. [link]

"The water is safe, but don't use it unless you absolutely have to," he said.

Residents can take a sip, but should not shower or use water to brush teeth, according to Kocher.

Not really clear on why drinking it is ok, but brushing with teeth is not.

eta: ah, just for a few hours. Volume, not quality issue.

It took out part of the water treatment plant (lake I walk around is out there and part of the water treatment system.)

Fuck, I hope the pool is open.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I braved Outside! And holy fuck, the wind was brutal. But I got one more present, and milk, and port wine cheese.

hip deep in pie

I have opted for staying in and am in inside pants. Esp. since I have to return things to three different stores. Blah.

In theory, my house is going to become spotlessly clean. I have to get of the couch first.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Wow, it sounds cold out there.

I haven't made caramels but I've made caramel sauce before. For some reason, making candy terrifies me.

my curse of buying duplicate gifts continues. The babysitter informed me, he got mac something that I also got. I really should have asked him to tell me what he was thinking of before he bought it. It is not too bad, because they are probably not the exact same (several figures in a series of toys)m but still.

Me too. It's the precision. And the molten sugar!

I asked my cousin what to get her husband, and got one of her suggestions, so I'm hoping he hasn't actually been talking about wanting it to everyone.
