Our local Target along with United Way gave away two fully decorated Christmas trees to local needy families. The family I'm mentoring won the drawing for one. They are shrink wrapping the tree, fully decorated, so I can pick it up and deliver it Friday morning.
How cool is that?

I had to stop reading Gravity's Rainbow because I was feeling crazy and paranoid.
ETA: I stopped at the grocery store for four things: cat food, tortillas, cheese and chocolate chips. I got everything but the cheese, but it's the most integral to all my dinner options. Wahh!
