Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

ION, I'm finally making the damn cookies, for a party on Sunday. How soon do you think I can bake them? Will Thursday be OK?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

We are offering a new course on Sexuality (in Healthcare). We are numbering it NSG 369. My department is weird.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Yikes! I hope that works out as an improvement for the neighborhood.

Yeah. I think so. When the guy (and a bunch of his friends) first moved in, I brought over some couscous and beer as a "welcome new neighbor" gift, and was surprised by how unfriendly they were. I commented to another neighbor, and then a few days later we got the "registered sex offender" notification. And we noticed they always had fancy cars and motorcycles. And then the police came last night, and we wondered. Details were in the local rag this morning. [link]

Did anyone else see last night's Colbert? Loved his performing with Alicia Keys on "Empire State of Mind"! Someone over at TWOP transcribed his rap:

Yeah, yeah, yeah
I love New York, King of all the Cities
Lived up by the Guggenheim, 'til I got some kiddies
Moved to Connecticut, 'bye George Pataki
Volvo to the dry-cleaners, pickin' up my khakis

Shoppin' mall is close, my community is gated
My shorties are all private school educated
Home theater system, 60-inch plasma
Clean suburban air, much better for my asthma

Still hit the city, Times Square, keep it real
Hard Rock Cafe for the appetizer deal
M&M Store, Disney Store, I'm in heaven
I own this town from 41st to 47th

Take you to The Lion King, that show is fantastic
Leave half an hour early so I can beat the traffic
I can get home really fast, driver rocks an E-Z Pass
Land of cheaper gas and the upper middle class

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oooh, that's a viciously accurate rap.

I know those people.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

We are numbering it NSG 369.

I guess that is a bit better than NGA 369.

That Lego Architecture series is really cool--we've been selling lots of the Sears Tower one at the bookstore.
