I'm going to see to Wesley, see if he's still whimpering.

Our wings are not tired.

I cannot read/hear about animal cruelty without shutting down.

Me, too. It affects me like no other thing.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I cannot read/hear about animal cruelty without shutting down.

Me, too. It affects me like no other thing.

Oh, my god. I mean, reading/hearing about humans in pain/trauma/abandoned *deeply* upsets me. I can't really articulate how much.

But reading about animal cruelty? I can't even cope.

(One of the cats has decided to come over and drape herself across me, which is about as close to a hug as I think will happen.)

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Glamcookie, THANK YOU for whitefonting whatever it was about the chihuahua.

No prob. For the record, nothing actually happened to the chihuahua, but it could have - and I'll leave it at that. Also, I hugged on my kitties, too.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I cannot read/hear about animal cruelty without shutting down.

Me too. It twists me up inside. People who deliberately hurt helpless creatures should be dropped in a shark tank sans cage.

I have a kink in my neck. It's pissing me off.

Our wings are not tired.

Hugs pets tight, not that it is an effort because the cat is sleeping next to my feet and the dog is snuggled next to me on the couch.

My neighbor got a new puppy today to keep her elderly dog company. I've thought of that with Brandy, but she finds younger dogs annoying. Brandy has become extremely dependent in her old age. She has to go to work with me. If we go out one of the boys has to stay home, or she has to stay with friends. She howls and cries and works herself into a frantic state if left alone.

The last time we tried leaving her at a neighbor's house when we went out we had to go pick her up at 1am. My friend was just going to keep her overnight since she knows them so well and plays with her kids all the time. She started howling and my friend was afraid she was going to have heart failure on her watch. Brandy was ok with visiting until bedtime, then she wanted her mommy.

By my side she sleeps 23 hours a day calm and content. Alas, not all the places I have to go will welcome her. It's tough.

So, I skipped to the end to see how Theodosia's interview went. I hope they recognized the awesome.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

It is snowing like a banshee here. I hope the buses run OK tomorrow.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Back to the vokda for fabric thing -- could you not use rubbing alcohol?

Just as a quick double check--punching people just because you want to is still wrong, right?

It might be right, but you may still get in trouble for it. Just something to consider.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Jesse never lets me have any fun.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Jesse's not an embracer, in many ways.
