Jesus, Daisy. I wish you were closer because I've been getting the urge recently. I think I may try to hold out until spring though.

Good Lord that is awful, Daisy. Reminds me of the way my co-worker found his Chihuahua. He was parked at a store and happened to notice a small box behind his truck when he returned to it. He opened it to find a baby Chihuahua. Some evil fuck put it behind his tire with the assumption that it would get run over when the truck backed out of the spot. Happy ending, though, as co-worker loves his little pup.
It's spelled aluminum here.
Cheque is spelt check here, apparently. Doesn't stop everyone.
Oh fucking hell, Glam. Sometimes I hate this world.
shrift, Kristin recommended this book to me a while ago.
Thanks, P-C. Somehow I made it out of my 20s alive, so I guess I'd better learn how to do this crap.
And it looks like there are a few used copies of that older version for four bucks, fulfilled by Amazon, so you can just pop it on if you're buying anything else and get ever closer to Super Saver Shipping.
If you need it right away, I can get it for you in two days with Prime.
Ooh, I do need to add to something for supersaver, maybe I'll do that. I have a 401k I need to rollover or do something with or figure out how to access ...from a job I left over two years ago.

But in terms of the differences pronouncing*, it's key to note the split between aluminum/aluminium. Apparently, this is also Webster's fault. Let's PUNCH HIM IN HIS DEAD FACE.
* I always pronounce spelled as spelt, though I spell it spelled.
It cracks me up that I still have my 401k from a job I left in 1992.
Oh, DJ, that would make me sick to my stomach. I mailed my letter to Think Geek today, when I sent the merchandise back so I hope she gets a nice gift card or something from them.
Too many people needing cockpunches today, though.
This week, Owen is the Fabulous Friend in his classroom, so he gets to sort of be a little star--he gets a poster with his picture up, etc. I took in Oobi cupcakes for him (just cupcakes with a pair of eyes) and have ordered Oobi eyes off of ebay for his whole class on Friday.
Tomorrow I get to go in and help the class make gingerbread houses.
