Angel: You know, I killed my actual dad. It was one of the first things I did when I became a vampire. Wesley: I hardly see how that's the same situation. Angel: Yeah. I didn't really think that one through.

I am also attempting to not steal the Taco Bell from my daughter. I opted out when Joe ran up there. I am seeing the error of my ways.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

you know most people would not just leave someone they know hanging, but people on craigslist and freecycle do it ALL THE TIME.

My meatspace friends used to all the time. I was forever finding out people couldn't go do stuff only when they failed to show up. It came to a head when I sent 14 invites to my Angel 100th episode party, got 11 affirmative responses, and had ONE guest actually show up. (Thankfully the birthday of a co-worker I've been friends with for 20 years was the next day, so I ended up unexpectedly catering her birthday lunch with about $150 worth of party food.)

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Kathy, maybe you should throw an impromptu barbeque.

My mother's first realization that she had moved to a whole new planet (Manhattan to the Midwest) came when people showed up to a dinner party precisely on time and she was in her bathrobe about to get in the shower.

I gotta hand it to lisah. When asked by my neighbor how we knew each other, she came out with "Social networking!" Of course, I blew it with "that's better than invisible internet friends" but still, new term!

Loki likes the deck and is pretty well behaved on it, for a psycho kitten.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

It's not how many people come to the party, as long as it's the right company. I'm glad you had a good time with lisah and bob and the neighbor.

I have kids in the tub. Dang but they come home grubby. I think I'm going to try The Sound of Music on them as DH has to work late tonight.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Isn't just perfect-I have a job interview tomorrow and last night a mosquito bit me on the face! I'm allergic so it is very swollen and red, and on my face!

Wish me luck, I'm gonna need it.

Yeah, no really except for the good few who showed, it was a bust. A good bust, but a bust. I accept that. Thank god for bob & lisah & Anna.
