That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Oh, msbelle. I am so sorry. That totally sucks.

I am currently eating my lunch of a very tasty chopped salad that I made a TON of last night. It's going to be my lunch all week, so I'm glad it's as good as it is!

they would not allow the exception. bye bye $500/mo in tax free dollars.

That absolutely blows. We do ours and it's due November 20, but they don't tell you by phone or email or anything else. you get an enrollment packet in October and you're on your own.

The upside to such a system is that I have learned that both medical and childcare is still tax deductible, if you dont' FSA it. You just have to wait longer to get the money back. But it does come back in one nice big lump.

GOOD ONE! I had forgotten. Now to make files so I will remember to collect receipts!

I don't know about your day care person, but ours does one receipt at the end of the year. But the medical deductions are trickier because there is a minimum amount you have to deduct. Childcare might have a cap. I wish I could remember all the rules.

In my class room, there is a white holiday tree with blue lights and black, silver and blue bulbs (our school colors are like a bruise - black and blue).

We are so going to kick ass on the door decorating contest tomorrow.

My childcare does a receipt everytime I pay and I can pay weekly monthly or in chunks, so receipts can get lost if I am not organized.

medical deductions are trickier because there is a minimum

I'll look it up. I wonder if elective stuff is covered. If so, I bet I can hit it provided I can schedule the mole removal stuff I want.

Hope you're feeling better quickly, Hec!
