In the show Law & Order, are the cops law or order? I'd always pegged them as order, although they should be sequenced first.
Yeah, it should be Order & Law to go in order. You know they developed it like that because at the time everything doing well in syndication was a half-hour show and Dick Wolf wanted to make sure he could syndicate it.

Well, Mr. Wolf sure did a good syndication job. Season 20 and I read that if NBC doesn't pick up 21, TNT will.

Yes, that's how I see it, too, I was just trying to make a case for the other way.

I can't imagine actually consuming the show separately. Of course, it's a lot blurrier now, with more personal consideration and quite recently LESS COURTROOM TIME.
I was thinking about giving my father a knife this year, but seriously the last thing he needs is a new pocketknife. Of course, that's the problem -- he doesn't really need anything!
