Zoe: I thought you wanted to spend more time off-ship this visit. Wash: Out there is seems like it's all fancy parties. I like our party better. The dress code is easier and I know all the steps.

Ugh. Perkins, I'm going to Target... anything I can get for you that will fit through the interwebs?

K took Noah to the San Fernando Mission (seriously) and I'm making soup. I need to go to Michaels to find little bags for the last of my xmas gifts as well as some tape. Then, done!

My Sunday is masquerading as a Monday. Does that mean tomorrow will be more enjoyable? We can hope.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sadly, I need to return things (and buy stocking stuffers), but thanks.

I may get there before noon, and it's raining, so maybe it won't be too bad.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Had our open house yesterday which went very well and there were some Buffistas there--but all at different times, oddly enough. The torrential rains made everyone have to stay inside, but that just made it more convivial (meaning loud). Food was eaten and mimosas drunk and our guests seem to enjoy themselves.

A friend from college who had been living in Colorado showed up--due to Facebook. I hadn't seen her in about 15 years and as soon as she saw me she burst into tears--it was so lovely to catch up.

Today I am too tired to move, but have to be at work anyway. Feh.

So, the winter storm seems to be just rain. I suppose I ought to get dressed and moving since it is freaking 2 o'clock anyway? I was awake between 7:30 and 8:30, if that counts???

Either I have no tolerance anymore, or those drinks last night were so much stronger than I thought. Holy moly.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Damn office gift exchange. And damn me for having gift ideas I am stubborn about. I am carrying 2 large bags and my purse in the rain. Just now getting lunch and I need to be home in just over an hour. Not a relaxing afternoon.

At least it was productive?

I'm off to the pool, to hopefully apologize to my kidneys and liver for last night.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, my god, it is so much work being a Saints fan.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

They do not make it easy.

Do I want to put on outside pants and go to Binny's for some fancy wine?

Because books.

Being a Mets fan this summer wasn't easy, either.

I'm watching The Bourne Supremacy. Again. I can't seem to turn this movie off if I happen past it.
