Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

The result of the Craigslist thing is that I stop trying to be helpful. I'm not rude, I answer e-mails, I do what I say I'll do. But I'm not going to go out of my way to do anything for someone who's 75% likely to blow me off.
Daaaaaaaamn. That's, like, my whole adolescence.
Aw man, no kidding.
That's terrible.
And the email to DPW bounces. Jackasses.
I'm finding myself surprisingly moved by John Hughes' death.
RE: John Hughes. Yep. Heart attack. Heard about it at work (one of the hazzards of working here I suppose).
Aaand, nobody's here. I do know my former boss & her husband, my realtor, one of my less conversational coworkers and lisah have said they'll come. Other friends? NSM. Guess that happens in the summer.
John Hughes was 59. Way too young.
Around here, at least, no one arrives on time. There's always that 20 minutes of blank time in which I think, "Do I start drinking now?"
