It's snowing. Bah.

My mom is in New York right now and I told her to be sure to go by that rink as it's so pretty.
I should have mentioned - the rink we were at is the Wollman Rink in Prospect Park, not Central. (The one in Central Park is also very pretty, but admission to skate there is in the double-digits because it's owned by Donald Trump.)
[eta: Oh, and the rest of the skating pics on there are from Pentagon Row in DC over Thanksgiving. Only the video is from NYC.]
Ah, I didn't realize there were 2. Yes, I sent her to the one in Central Park.
I put my little tree up [link] , and am watching White Christmas. Good times. I have a ton of lights, and am trying to decide if I should try to put them in my windows, or if that's just Too Much....
I got rid of stuff today! 4 formals, 3 vintage and 1 form my college senior ball; and 1 old mouton coat. WHEE! I also put clothes away in my newly really and truly now fixed dresser. YAY!
Also Also packed up the stuff that sold on ebay, that will be 4 boxes out of the closet and will possibly use up all my stashed away packing peanuts. More YAY!
Also Also Also remember that mac has a set of duplo legos he never uses anymore and am gonna list those for sale next.
We went into Manhattan for Ethiopian dinner with friends and my brother and his bf. exchanged gifts with the friends. Our boys behaved lovely while children of a group of what I can only guess where neighborhood families ran wild and shrieked constantly. We heap praise upon praise on our boys when we left. I think mac is still glowing from it.
Filing: done. Christmas shopping: done. Laundry: done. Dishes: done.
Writing: really not done.
I have the dishwasher running, and I got almost all my Christmas shopping done.
I am also sending ita more pictures.
Oops.
You guys are productive!
I forgot to run the dishwasher when I left this morning, bah. Upside: Dishwasher!!
I love my dishwasher. When I didn't have one, I was all, "Pshaw! It's just me; I can wash my dishes myself!" Now? I'll drink wine out of a mug because the wine glasses can't go in the dishwasher.
I really want a dishwasher.
I am thisclose to finishing my Xmas shopping. I just need to get a couple of gift certificates and a little something else for one more person. Of course, this is when my family starts asking me to pick up things for them. I usually don't mind...unless it's really out of the way.
