Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

All of you Point-deprived people should find a way to watch it RIGHT NOW. It is awesomecakes.
I was super-productive this morning and am now paying for it. Our neighbor invited us ice skating and rather than risk the rink not having skates in D's size we all biked over to the shoe store beforehand and I bought him a nice pair for $20. (This place also lets you trade skates in, which is why they always have a good selection of used kids sizes. When I have more time I'll probably go there for skates for me too.) Then we biked to the rink and skated around for about an hour, then we had hot cider and lunch and then biked home. I am freaking WIPED.
Fortunately my saintly husband is going to the tamale stand to get me a molé tamale, which should restore my strength quite tastily.
I love that attending too. ::sigh::
Hec, Jesse's plan has women competing against men in their weight classes. Also it doesn't consider sports in which weight isn't the key differentiator.
Krav studio
This reminded me that I'm re-reading the Skulduggery Pleasant books, and the character names, though sometimes corny, tend to amuse the hell out of me.
Bad guy names: Gruesome Krav, Murder Rose, Billy-Ray Sanguine, Mevolent (no last name, that's how bad he his), Nefarian Serpine.
Good guy names: Ghastly Bespoke (he's a tailor [get it?] with scars all over his face), Mr. Bliss, Skulduggery Pleasant.
Not-sure-who's-side-she's-on name: China Sorrows.
Every time I read "Gruesome Krav," it made me giggle.
Look up the definition of "bespoke." t edit As regards clothing.
All hail the mighty power of YouTube.
(Parts 2-8 are in the sidebar of that clip)
When DH worked for the venture capital firm that got him a bespoke suit. A little much for crawling on the ground hooking up wires, but he also did tech analysis for co's they were acquiring and needed to have the investment banker look.
Teppy - those names remind me of Speed Racer names! (And are therefore, totally excellent.)
My DH wants a bespoke suit badly. But he NEVER wears one so we can't justify the expense.
