Science fiction fandom is 80 today
80 years ago today, the first ever science fiction fan group, the Scienceers, met for the first time at organization president Warren Fitzgerald's apartment in Harlem (Fitzgerald, the first-ever big name fan, was black). Happy 80th, fandom!

I think I'm caving and going into the ER Saturday morning instead of Sunday. Weirds up my weekend, but I'm not doing this any longer than I have to.

It's not as bad. But I kind think the other one felt like this before it blew up into excruciating pain.
Or it could just be healing up from all the trauma monday. I guess if it gets worse, I'll know.

I'm pretty sure I did see him prior to the actual hugging, but it was still very surprising!
