What's that?
It's a FB challenge from one of my friends from prep school who is trying to read more this coming year. But I'm using it to read all the books I feel I should have read (i.e., books I hate to admit I haven't read).
I mentioned it in literary: megan walker "Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear." Dec 1, 2009 8:38:14 pm PST
Arghh I missed the first few minutes of CM. What happened?
These are two great tastes that taste great together, babe.
Not to mention that we're getting brunch for, like, six hours tomorrow because the expectation is that we'll all be hungover. Woo!
expectation is that we'll all be hungover
(i hate you a little bit right now)
Did you slounge!?
Drunk, but not too drunk to use commas properly. Aren't we all proud?
Oh, Megan, I'm not subbed to lit thread anymore, no wonder I didn't know about it.
But not the right books, hmm?
Oh, it was my old, now disbanded club that chose the crap books (but also chose some gems, so it's okay). I'm now part of two new ones and we're reading good stuff! Catch-22 for my classics club, and Olive Kittredge for the other group. Incidentally, Buffistas hooked me up with both new clubs!
Perkins, I think you missed
Haley's funeral and them getting called away from there to the case in Nashville. It was much sadder than I was expecting. JJ was in full flood of tears. Garcia crying. Prentiss and Reid welled up. They're all very concerned about when Hotch will be able to come back.
Man needs a hug something awful. And then some.
Have been drinking free top shelf. Not exactly sober.
I would disappointed if you were.
Catch-22 for my classics club, and Olive Kittredge for the other group. Incidentally, Buffistas hooked me up with both new clubs!
Catch-22
is on my should read list, although I was considering replacing it with a Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
I liked
Olive Kittredge,
although I don't really love the short story format.
Did you slounge!?
Seating was limited at the venue, so there was no opportunity to slounge.
I'm now pounding water because I'd like to be able to go to the gym tomorrow and not feel like I'm dying.
