Yeah, I could do that, but I'm paralyzed with not caring very much.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I think I'm getting irritated (irrationally probably) at my friend who put it up on facebook making a joke about corona as if it had no other meaning than the name of a beer.

It irritates me when humor relies on ignorance.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Still, I'll be buying for less than I am selling and potentially will double my space. I will have empty rooms.

Oh, how great!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, there's a reason no one debates the subtleties of non-con in Gor. I've encountered people who like it, but everyone labels it the same.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I was a fast reader and a slow comprehender. That's my teen excuse.

I am with ita on this one.

Oooh, but the one on Town Creek Drive has an arch! And a spacious kitchen. Nice!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Gor is the poster child of fantasy non-con.

Ugh. People who are into Gorean shit really annoy me. (Mostly because the men treat all women -- and I mean women who they don't know but who are at the same event with them -- like chattel. I enjoy telling them to cram their poorly-written books up their ass.)

And the round top windows on the third one. Forget it, these houses are all to my liking.

brillig

My first Gor book was written from an Earthwoman's POV. That was nasty.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I read a couple of the Gor books when I was a teenager, and thought they were dreck. Having that background did pay off bigtime for enjoying it when MST3K did the movie version, though.
