Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

If I'm going to go to the movies on Friday, should I see Julie and Julia, or is there something else I'm not thinking of? (Have recently seen 500 Days of Summer.)

Coding and Sleeping

I just know he was one of those self-proclaimed "nice guys" who ranted about how women only like "bad boys"

I think I ranted like that a bit in high school though it was more like, "Why does he have girls hanging all over him when he treats them like crap and why can't I get a date when I'm all nice?" In my defense, it was high school and college quickly showed me that nice does pay dividends. Also, I discovered the answer to the question was because I ignored the girls who did want to go out with me making the lack of dates (actually I did have a number of dates, but they were mostly for dances which, shooting ducks in a barrel really) my own damn fault.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

should I see Julie and Julia

HEEEEEEE! I'm reading this right now. I think I may have stolen the book from someone at the pool (it was abandoned in the empty locker room! I'll take it back this week and turn it in as lost... I'm a crummy book thief).

I liked the book, and am even more excited about the movie, since it's half Julia's life as well.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I just know he was one of those self-proclaimed "nice guys" who ranted about how women only like "bad boys" but in reality he was a socially maladjusted psychopath. ugh ugh ugh

I had thought he was a racist, right wing fuck. Damn, now I gotta go back and see if I'm confusing him with someone else....

hip deep in pie

Sigh. I went in the basement to do laundry and there were three more loads of cat poo on the floor. One litterbox is completely empty and is used, but not full. I'm pretty sure it's Oz, based on volume and size. I thought it was just because the boxes were full, but now I don't know what's up. Could it be because I've got them on a different food?

I had separated the two boxes, but now I've moved them back together.

At least he's only pooping in the unfinished part of the basement. That's a plus.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You know, TJ's 3-layer hummus is mighty tasty.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I had thought he was a racist, right wing fuck. Damn, now I gotta go back and see if I'm confusing him with someone else....

Oh, he was that, too. Blaming perfectly good women who chose to date black men over his psychotic ass.

And his mother, of course.
