No. You're missing the point. The design of the thing is functional. The plan is not to shoot you. The plan is to get the girl. If there's no girl, then the plan, well, is like the room.

I have a handful of foreign coin, some now worthless with the euro. But how do I love the mountains and castles and fertility goddesses and water buffalos and dzongs and kremlin and and and pictured therein? Lots. I still have USSR rubles and fucking kopeks! From the month before it all fell apart!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Save it for your visit to France and spend it then. Actually, I don't know about the Euro stuff.

I have at least one coin from every country I've been to, except maybe Luxembourg. And some I haven't.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I have made it safely to Indianapolis. They do not have different money here but I am still glad to be here. Last stretch was not as awesome as the rest, but still ok. Due to an amusing mix up I am not now on my way to my brother in law`s house but instead at a swanky hotel. Which, money ouch, but it is very nice and I am very tired.

Awesome news about the shingles meds, congrats.

The status is NOT quo.

Java! That's wonderful news--congrats!

Our wings are not tired.

Thanks Pix and sarameg and cashmere and whoever else responded. I am very excited. I was so excited that I completely forgot that I had plans to see Mary Karr speak tonight; got there on time anyway and found her to be extremely funny and entertaining. She reminds me of a less neurotic Carrie Fisher.

I have a lot of coins from all over, too. Sometimes I think it's charming, and sometimes I just thing "ack, more clutter!"

Speaking of clutter, megan walker will be glad to know that I took SEVEN bags to Goodwill today.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I've got tomorrow off of work--I'm filling up my car with my two boxes of stuff and my old dvd player first thing in the morning (well, second thing after I do laundry) and taking it over to Goodwill, then stopping by Target for the Star Trek dvd and the Glee CD and then the grocery store for the stuff I didn't get on Friday night. Then I get to come home and watch a movie while I get back to cross-stitching. That's after I sleep in--I am not setting my alarm and will see how long I get to sleep.

Man, I hate the Castle opening credits. Almost as much as the Leverage ones. Which I hope don't last long. But they both take lines I like from the show and beat them into the ground.

Congrats javachik! Nice payoff for all the hard work!

I concur, ita.
