I had some ronco pasta shells, with an improvised garlic butter sauce since the jar of tomato sauce woke up grumpy once I removed it from the fridge. Would have worked better if I had cheese-filled shells.

Today has been a day of mild food disappointments with nothing bad enough to merit being tossed in favor of something better.

I used one of those removable hooks, and it fell right down!

Yeah, the only place I have had them work is on tile. One took off a chunk of my paint. So I hung a picture over it.

Dinner tonight Crockpot Pork stew (recipe from a friend in Atlanta). Pork loin, sweet potatos, onions, sweet peppers, salt, pepper, brown sugar, cinnamon, wine, water, olive oil, and just a hint of curry powder.

Dinner tonight was Pasta y Fagioli. Pretty much pantry pasta.

So I ordered in Penne Pasta with Spinach and Walnuts and the chocolate cake. Haven't eaten the cake yet - dinner was too big.
