You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

There's It's a Wonderful Life and then there are all other Christmas movies. "Here's to my brother George, the richest man in town." Otherwise, there's Holiday Inn and the Natalie Wood/Maureen O'Hara Miracle on 34th Street.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Bad Santa is good too. Lauren Graham with a Santa fetish? Maybe not a classic yet, but funny as hell.

Because books.

It's a Wonderful Life, Meet Me in St. Louis, the Alistair Sim Christmas Carol, A Christmas Story, and the original animated Charlie Brown Christmas and The Grinch.

Those are my musts every season.

A Miracle on 34th Street, A Charlie Brown Christmas for me, the George C. Scott Christmas Carol for Greg. The kids have no opinion as yet.

OK, got something accomplished: under 1 minute/lap pace, which I kept up for a continuous 50 laps. Which is awesome, because my pace usually averages just over a minute when I'm not swimming as far. So I feel a little accomplished. Will do litterboxes and clean the sink, give M his shot and make a Target/TJs/new goggles run.

Not a total wasted day. I'd meant to do some clothes shopping...which is how I ended up on the couch all day, I suspect.
