Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Oh, I have tickets to see Billy Bragg on Sunday...and no one to go with.

Someone is giving away a 2 year old Great Pryenees on Kijiji (few around here use Craiglist) I am seriously tempted, but I was just reading that the breed can be fairly aggressive. The only one I've known was a ginormous teddy bear, but it gives me pause.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't feel like working today. I worked my ass off yesterday, so I think I will take it easy today... I really am saving a lot of time not talking to my coworkers all day, and getting a lot done!

Hippo birdies, Hil!

Anybody else watching Colbert? Specifically, watching the commercials?

I have it on DVR (hopefully), but they might not be the same ones (I record a later broadcast, which means FFing through too many Girls Gone Wild ads). What should I look out for? Or is it something to be avoided?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Happy birthday, Hil!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I have a scarily busy weekend. Tonight I am going with a friend (who got free tickets through work) to a benefit event to hang out with rich people, eat free food and hear John Fogerty play. Tomorrow the DH and I are going to see They Might Be Giants playing their entire album Flood. This is doubly awesome, since it not only is a GREAT album, is also contains "our" song (Birdhouse in Your Soul). Sunday, we are seeing Parade at the Taper.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

Happy Birthday Hil!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

So my work has to let more people go by year-end. 2 people from our department, who were in all likelihood on the shortlist of folks to chop, resigned in the last 2 weeks. It is such a load off.

ION, I am Jesse wrt did lots yesterday therfore no desire to do anything today.

So I got to work at 9:00 and it's only 10:23? Who's resting their foot on the brake pedal of Time?
