All right, yes, date and shop and hang out and go to school and save the world from unspeakable demons. You know, I wanna do girlie stuff!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Yeah. If you look at Gothic Charm School carefully you'll note Jilli doesn't even include that one on the list

I don't? Huh. Of course, that's the one that always slips my mind, so that's probably why I didn't include it.

Feh. I have horrible cramps, and am mood-swinging between the states of ennui, woe, and wanting to cause people's heads to explode with the power of my mind.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

It is not boring! It has Merlin and the Holy Grail and a dog!

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I am megan, only I didn't continue to book 2. Maybe I should?

I may have to seize the cat.

I thought it was boring. I'm glad you did not.

Yes, you should. Book 2 is excellent.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Anyone else think Dana should have stuck JZ on the phone with her Mom?

Sometimes I think we should just give up and let "alot" be a word.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Sometimes I think we should just give up and let "alot" be a word.

Nooooooooo! I would hate that. A lot.

eta: Although I was really surprised when a friend of mine (who has an English degree) didn't know "alot" is not a word.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I like the first one (or did last I read it) but even the box sets usually leave it out for some reason.

The second book really steps it up though - I would definitely not stop at one.

Okay, whether you like the book or not, that's just wrong.

Our wings are not tired.

Question: does anyone here drive a Subaru Forester, and if you do, is it newer than 2005?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I've heard from multiple people to skip the first one, but I have to start with it when I get around to reading the books because...I'm me.
