I just hate suburbs that require you to drive anywhere.
Yeah, I have multiple public transit options for getting to and from Evanston.
Relatedly, my drivers license expired on my birthday in March, and I still haven't gotten it renewed. I suppose I should do that. Huh, I haven't driven in about six months....
inspection confirms what I already know, but the good news is I am already well on my way through all the pre work that is required before they will treat. Other good news, the building exterminator folk seem to know what's what and their treatment plan matches with what I was needing to hear. WHOOT! That means, at least for now, I will not have to pay for the exterminator. Good thing too, since I am already out-of-pocket over $600 and I know of at least $500 coming this week.
I don't mind suburbs per se, I just hate suburbs that require you to drive anywhere.
You probably wouldn't be a fan of Kansas City suburbs.
I also have the Ick That Won't Die. One week of fever, stuffed head, horrible cough, yaddayaddayadda. Not able to take time off work as I have two trips coming up, so I am trying to soldier through it. It was our anniversary this weekend and I was too disgustingly sick to, um, celebrate in the proper fashion, sadly. We did have a nice weekend anyway.
What were the inspectors looking for?
And because it deserves its own post, Happy birthday, Deena!
Birthday Happies, Deena!!
Happy Birthday Deena!
The bug bite I got yesterday now looks like an irregular bruise the size of a quarter with livid dark splotches that may be running along blood vessels. Has anyone ever heard if bites from clavate tortoise beetles are dangerous? I couldn't find a reference to anyone being bitten by one when googling it.
WTF is going on here? Happy Monday!
Note - some other posts on Fabulon are NSFW.
Happy Birthday Deena!
Matt-- that bite sounds bad. Maybe you should call your Dr?
Ok- so I miised the garbage man (today) with most of my sofa and entertainment center that need to be removed. Should I try to arrange putting it out to the curb now, wait until next week's trash, or put in in our trash area? This presupposes I am going to have some one of moving this stuff, because I totally cannot do it myself. This is the part that sucks about being single and hermit like.
I am thinking of asking this kid at work to see if he has a friend and they could do it. I could pay them, but I do not know the going rate for sofa removal. They could definately also have some of my books, which this guy has been wanting, and I am in the mood for clearning out.
But does anyone know how much to pay for sofa removal?
