Cleaning is a time-honored procrastination technique for me. I'd much rather do the dishes than grade a set of papers.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
The thing is, I only get around to doing floors when they're horrifying or when I'm in some weird state of mind, like desperately procrastinating or hopped up on the Atkins Diet with too much energy at 1 am.
We just bought a new TV. Yay! And they'll haul away our current 250-pound TV. Yay!
Annie's, though--I could seriously eat a family size box of that a week, all by myself (sadly, probably in one sitting) and be perfectly happy.
Oh my yes. Love this. I add an entire bag of frozen organic broccoli to it (steamed first) and it's dinner for both of us.
Well, Lewis went to a clinic this morning-- they put him on prednisone for a week and something else.
Right now, he's in a remarkably cheerful mood. I hope this doesn't translate into twitchy and unable to sleep, but for now, I'll take it.
Barb, what does Lewis have? My mom went back to the doctor yesterday, and he told her she still has the pneumonia she thought she was getting over after looking at her X-rays. He gave her another inhaler and pills with prednisone in them.
He has tenosynovitis in his right hand-repetitive stress injury. If this round of medications doesn't result in substantial improvement, they're going to refer him to a specialist and he might be looking at surgery. Which-- oy!
I just made dinner on the grill--boneless bbq spareribs, fresh asparagus spears and sliced potatoes with green onions, garlic and parsley. Mmmmmm.
Now I want ice cream but we don't have any. I may take the kids out to get some and pick up Coraline on DVD.
Oh, a grill, yet another thing I could have if I had a yard. t /yard envy
I am listing things on ebay that I have treated and bagged.
