Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Honey, gravity doesn't really love you. I know it says it does, but it's telling you LIES.

If only I wouldn't test him so, he'd stop hurting me? I know it's my fault, he says so.

Depending on who you hold for (and I held for lots of big guys) that can have as much or more impact than getting hit sparring.

Oh yeah. We were doing some pad work tonight. Yowza.

Karate is the only time I have stuck with any kind of exercise for over a year and really enjoyed it. I think it is the combo of learning and sweating.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

My biggest problem with exercising at the gym is that it's SO BORING, so I have a hard time motivating myself to go there more than once or twice a week. I walk at least a mile a day just getting to and from work, and I use hand weights while watching TV or sitting at my computer desk. I guess I should try harder to find a sport/physical activity that I like doing so it's less of a chore.

Competitive shots?

I know people who have changed their lives by taking up fencing or salsa dancing.

I got way more exercise having a weekly tennis partner than anything else I've done in my adulthood, excepting going out dancing.

“Not dead yet!”

I want to learn how to ballroom/Latin dance. Jax has crap for studios, but I'm hoping once we get to Seattle, it'll be easier. Also, I can skate again! WHEEEEE!!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

We had a conversation at the cafe where walking came up -- someone's dog has gained weight and needs to walk more . and someone was " we all could walk more" and I agreed. But someone said " you walk all thime" Not latley . so I walked to and from the cafe to preserve a reputation I didn't know I had...
