"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

God, I hate exercise. Kettlebell is all I could ever manage. The martial arts are different--those are for the sheer love of the art. Actual exercise? Blech.

In this regard you are Emmett. He's getting into very good shape with Krav, but it's tough getting him to run the steps at Kezar Stadium (at my house) or hit the gym at his mom's condo complex.

I actually like swimming. When everything is working in the water, it's sublime. Like flying down from the Tiger's Nest. Everything working as it should, it's magic, it's my body and it's all mine.

Oh god, some random show is using my favorite bit from Four Seasons, Winter, I think. Timely.

Ugh, I am so with you on that. One of the good things about having a dayjob back at the Big Software Co. is that the building I'm in now is about a 10 minute walk to the bus stop. Plus, I'm more likely to go for a walk to break up my day of staring at whitepapers and wanting to smack people.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I just joined a gym.

Krav would satisfy that urge.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Plus, I'm more likely to go for a walk

NO WII! It makes me legs hurt.

Oh, yeah, SUCK IT, ATLANTA!

I am a teeny-tiny bit interested in taking Krav, except for the part where I bruise freakishly easily. Like, really freakishly easily, for no reason any doctors can figure out. So Krav is Right Out for me.

NO WII! It makes me legs hurt.

StuntHusband reclaimed his Wii, so you are safe from our weird achey-legs-by-proxy thing.
