I can only imagine the swathes he cuts through the ladyfolk.

Have you seen the man dance?
I know he's a ladykiller.
I am rather amused at how many of y'all's devices that I think of by name.
And I haven't even named my laptop. I have named my car and my iPod.
Yeah, I'd line up.
I was sore all day (really pushed it in the pool this weekend) and even though I tried to take it easy tonight, it didn't work because the aerobics class in the pool had some serious wave action going and I had to fight against it half of every lap. Holy crap, 40+ people bouncing creates whitecaps in the pool.
So, more sore now.
I am as one with the others in my rage and desire to smite over bullshit family issues.
I made it to the gym tonight for the first time in a long time. Only did 15 min on the elliptical, but I am trying to go slow and build the habit. sarameg, you are quite the inspiration.
Now I'm watching FastForward from two weeks ago and doing stuff during the breaks.
Hah. The idea of me as an exercise habit inspiration is funny.
I don't give myself any days off, because I fear I'll slide if I give myself a "bad day/tired" excuse and the thing is, even a bad day? Even with a shitty swim? I feel better afterwards. And I feel like I accomplished something. I feel like I got fuckall done this weekend, but hey, I did swim almost 5K yards in 2 days. That's something.
GODDAMNIT, SAINTS.
Even if all I manage is 10 minutes on a treadmill and some stretching, I ALWAYS feel great after. But I still can't figure out why it's so hard to get motivated to actually get there and do it!
GODDAMNIT, SAINTS.
It's the Saints. Why are you surprised?
signed,

ION: Chase Utley! Stud!
Doesn't that sound like a good name for a Regency romance hero?
"Mr. Utley, I can hardly credit my ears!"
That's why I don't rely on motivation, just routine. Home, change, out the door to walk to the Y. It's worked for 2 months.
