Huh, unexpected signs of renewed interest from the football player I turned out this spring. I may actually get a toaster out of this.

It's sad how much I love Jake and Amir.
Matt, I'm pretty sure that for a football player, you get a toaster oven.
I think a crafty buffista needs this.
Yarn pirate. Like.
Well, I'm not trading my panini grill in just yet - he seems to be getting cold feet. But I get the sense that he's trying to talk himself into things, so it's likely day trips to Boystown are in his future even if he doesn't move there...
Timelies,
New thread. I'm actually able to keep track of what's going on. (We'll see how long that lasts.)
I've been lured onto Facebook under false pretenses! My sister said she had pictures of my niece and nephew and grand-niece, but she fibbed! Now I've friended people and I see other people from multiple worlds I live in, and stuff may collide. This 21st century is intimidating.
Heh. I just joined Facebook the other night, though in my case I wasn't tricked, but rather I got tired of the GF knowing what was going on with my friends and family before I did. (In her defense, she's generally pretty good at keeping me up to date, but every once awhile we have a "Didn't I tell you?" conversation.)
Hey, Hec. Prior to tonight's game, I was going to ask you if you guys wanted Harden back, but he pitched really well tonight (even if the Cubbies lost in the 13th) so I guess we can hang on to him for awhile longer.
Who knew our best starter this year would be the guy we traded away for nothing in the off-season. (Lots of really dumb off-season moves by the Cubs this year.)

Against Blanton no less! (They're still close friends.)
And we just traded away Sean Gallagher for Hairston.
I have this weird feeling that there's no such thing as a good hitter anymore. I suppose this comes from having been in the Bay Area during the height of the steroids era, but seriously...there's no offense on either the A's or Giants.

I haz that shirt. It is awesome. It even got a compliment from a guy I passed on Hollywood Blvd, although to be fair, he was dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow at the time.
