Tara: 'Your One-Stop Spot to Shop for Lots of New-Age and Occult Items.' Catchy. Giles: Think so? Tara: Uh huh. In a... hard to say sorta way.

Wine?

A sign of my father's sometimes obliviousness: he said good night to me and then turned out the lights and left. Left me sitting in the dark of my own livingroom. And of course, since his hearing is shitty, he didn't even hear my protests. I'd cry if it weren't so ridiculous and I weren't on my 3rd glass of wine.

And I sent a damned email I shouldn't have.

you know what I had at dinner? Prosecco with homemade peach sorbet. It was like a bellini float.

God love my brother for calling and putting it all in perspective, namely "You did what? Sweet! Can I put it on facebook? I'll be the total shit!" HAHAHAHA.

Mmm, sounds good.

I've rediscovered alcohol after a whole what, 2 or 3 days? It's a good thing tonight.

Now tagless for your comfort.

DH wants to take a phone interview with a firm in England. He assures me that it will probably go nowhere but I know he's not 100% happy where he's at.

Cash, if your family calls you in the middle of the night for an emergency it'll be morning. So there.

Good point. I'm trying not to freak but it's a strange prospect.

It would be pretty awesome, IMHO, Cash. You can always come back if it sucks.

I just watched two episodes of What Not To Wear, and now I want to go shopping even though I'm supposed to be culling my wardrobe. (Actually, I want to sleep for a week, magically lose 10 pounds while I'm snoozing, and then go shopping, but I accept that the possibility of this happening is somewhat remote.)
