I'm 17. Looking at linoleum makes me want to have sex.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Because books.

As he was leaving she said, "wait! I love you."

Liv! Heh. Very adorable. I hope the poor noodle comes through with minimal pain.

Coding and Sleeping

I hope all goes smoothly for Liv. That's hilarious.

Our wings are not tired.

Aww, good luck to Liv, and calm thoughts for mom.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

My wardrobe is about 90% black, but most of it is utterly gothless. For example, right now I am wearing black Mimi Maternity pants and a black Gap long-sleeved t-shirt. My inner goth is laaaaaaaaaaaazy.

I googled 'goth maternity wear' (without quotes) to see if such a thing exists. The fifth match was for something called "Gothic Charm School"!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Well, that's nice. I have to lead a 90-minute training session this afternoon for which I have spent zero time preparing, except that I just looked more closely at the agenda and I only have to lead 30 minutes of it! Not only that, it's the last 30 minutes. Suddenly my day just got a lot less stressy. Okay, some less stressy.

I just found out that Potential New Employer's maternity leave policy offers 2 *days* of leave upon the birth of a child.

Not weeks. DAYS.

I'm about to start crying at my desk. I have no idea what I'm going to do.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There are definitely bits of my wardrobe that Jilli or other goths might wear, and there are pastel 50s sundresses. It kind of evens out. There isn't much brown, primarily because I can never find the right brown shoes.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

TWO DAYS? That is insane. Maybe there's a workaround? Otherwise, how is it possible for women to work there?
