"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Good news, Kiba! Congratulations!

Go, Phillies!

(Pedro Feliz - ex-Giant. I have to take my pleasures with ex-local players: Blanton, Swisher, Feliz...)

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

This the awesome costume of a friend's son. [link] On his back was a sign reading, " You've been RickRolled! "

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I'm using the game as a carrot while Bob grades papers. Why he wants to watch the MFY who knows.

Compassionately intolerant

aurelia - that is awesome!

Totally!

Sadly, I had no awesomely clever kids this year. There was, however, a great family dressed as homemade Muppets. The baby was Grover, the ma was Elmo and the da was a 6ft+ Oscar, complete with tin rubbish bin around his middle. Oh, and my other favorite was a friend's baby twins dressed all in purple with purple balloons festooning their double pram. A bunch of grapes!

Because books.

We hatesss them.

Better than the Phillies, I say. Of course, it's hard for a Mets fan to root for either.

Hey, I called play of the game!
