Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The TJs I go to (Lincoln Ave.) is tiny. Maneuvering your shopping cart can be problematic when it's busy. Plus parking sucks.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Aargh. For some reason the recording was at least an hour short of the actual finish of the race -- this makes no sense, it's not like the timing of the race isn't completely predictable. But it's on again on KNBC now, so trying to go another couple hours without being spoiled...

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

The kid across the street just got his training wheels off his bike and is zooming around the cul-de-sac. He is so tiny and fast!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

There is a cat on my butt. Somewhat relatedly, I fear I may have to fart.

And you just made me scare my cat with my loud donkey laugh.

That's the one I used to go to and parking does suck there.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Is it sad that one of the things I'm most looking forward to once we move to Seattle is the opportunity to finally experience TJ's?

Not sad at all! TJs is awesome.

We occasionally do things in Oakland!

That might help me feel less like an intruder here. Every post I make I'm cringing on the inside like a new kid on the first day of school.

Unless that wasn't an invitation but rather a "Nah nah nah, we do things in Oakland and you can't come!"

The TJ's at Lakeshore in Oakland has numerous registers but only one line and it frequently curves through the aisles to the back of the store. There's a water station at the mid-point in case you get dehydrated waiting.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hee. No, it was a statement of possible invitations to come. I'm just starting a two month moratorium on spending money, but maybe after the new year we can attempt a Doing Something in Oakland again.

ehab, I hope to meet you when I'm out in the Bay Area at the end of the year. And part of my excitement about my trip is the chance to hit TJ's and bring home a bunch of nummy snacks.

Now tagless for your comfort.

TJ's is one of the things I miss most about Columbus.

The Denisof Family kills me ded.
