It is time for the pull-ups, flea.
I found out that my MiL and her sister stole the kids from DH and took them to the Grove to TorT. On the one hand I'm a bit sad to miss out on the TorTing, and on the other I am very happy for the kids as it will no doubt be more excitement than they would have had with us.
No TorTers yet, but the timing skews late in our neighborhood. Besides, it's not quite dark yet.
A bunch of Halloween photos Lots of excited kids, and some monkeys. Oh, and a walrus.
I just looked at mac's bag, maybe 20 pieces of candy. I hate TorTing here, so sucky.
We still haven't had any trick-or-treaters, dammit! I want to see tiny kidlings in costumes! After all, I'm in costume: [link]
Have people seen Google's Click or Treat? Nice!
Awesome costume (and hair), Jilli!
My analog wall clock is already moving forward 11 hours in anticipation of "falling back". It is very odd to glance up and have it tell me it is 3:15 with the second hand zooming around the dial.
Even though I slept something like 11 hours last night, I am very excited about my extra hour of sleep tonight.
After being Queen of Fuss all day, Matilda was very well behaved for Trick or Treating. She thanked everybody (zombie style).
Fortunately we've got Belvedere Street nearby so can bumrush it and hit like 25 houses in 45 minutes and now we're back home.
I scored a Heath bar for JZ and an Almond Joy for myself. Matilda seems intent on taking three licks off every Tootsie Pop.
We bought no candy and CJ didn't go TorT'ing. I'm feeling candy deprived.
My clock says it is now 7:00...it should stop at 7:33. I hope.
eta - stop zooming, I mean.
