Nilly, we usually just say "Happy Halloween," but I like your ideas better.
Happy Birthday, Daniel!
Happy Anniversary, House of Reason!
Happy WEDDING DAY, Nicole and soon to be DH!
My Halloween is very boring this year. I'm too sick to do much more than hide in the back bedroom from the hundreds of trick-or-treaters who show up. If I'm feeling better, I may go over to Universal for the last night of Halloween Horror Nights to spend some time with ND, but it will depend on how I'm feeling. Oh, and I have no voice and am not allowed to try to talk until Monday (stupid laryngitis), so I'll be a boring visitor if I am up to going.
Anyway, the last thing I want to do is to deal with trick-or-treaters (and I don't want to infect small children), so that's the one thing I definately won't be doing.
My Halloween is also boring. I'm sick, so I'm staying in and watching TV.
And I know how to spell definitely. My iPhone isn't letting me edit for some reason.
Hil, sorry to hear you're in the same boat.
Burrell - for me it is sad. I am the big traditionalist in my family and things changing over always make me cranky with a capital CRANK. Maybe it is just time that I do it how I want at our house just mac and me and see how that goes.
I am in a HORRIBLE mood. Other parents were commenting on it. If we can just do part of mac's homework now and I can get him in front of a movie, I think I will take a nap. I really want to clean up my house, but I need him gone for that and that won;t happen until tomorrow. grump grump grump.
I join you in grump, msb. I wish my husband were less of a wet noodle. Show some initiative, bub!
I'm trying to get pictures of Matilda in the Foofa costume before she destroys it and makes JZ's head explode.
ugh, I am sorry it is sad-making for you, msbelle. I can see that. Our holiday plans are still up in the air. Christmas usually is at our house, and that's fine by me, but I'd be happy to celebrate Thanksgiving at someone else's.
For Thanksgiving, I want to watch the parade, want the traditional food, want to watch the Cowboys play, and then lounging and board games the rest of the weekend.
For Christmas I want to decorate the tree while listening to holiday music, go shopping on the 24th and 26th, even if it's only one store, christmas eve church, traditional meal, up early for presents, all the rankin bass shows and the grinch the week leading up.
We are Thanksgiving orphans this year. Moved too far away to spend it with family and now, with my mom gone, it would feel strange to cook a feast for just the two of us.
Those sound good to me, msbelle.
