Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I want pie.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Me too.

Sorry if I caused undue cravings! At least y'all are closer.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'll be at a "Twin Peaks" party tomorrow. Pie guaranteed. I still wouldn't mind some pie tonight.

Since I'm in a sharing mood, this is one of my uppy happy songs [link] eta: it resonates. This is what I want to be. I've figured out what that means for me and I like it.

I think it's fair to say my office likes Halloween. [link] Some of them may not be Jilli safe.

I think it's fair to say my office likes Halloween.

That is EXCELLENT! I love the skeleton Mona Lisa picture.

Normally, work goes all out, but it didn't this year. I think the death of the mission head plus weekend did that. Were still people in costume, though. Like my coworker with his really good fake incisors (I guess he used a glue? Seriously, they looked good and real.) I was a little weirded out at how good they looked on him (he's an attractive man, though I don't think of him like that, and I guess that little change reminded me of that and EW! He and I are a set of terrible twins so it's just weird to be all "huh, that's kinda hot" about him. Uhg. Must go scrub brain.)

HA! I love the falling apart skeletons. My sister decorated her cube as the closet in which the skeletons dwell.
