I like the sheet of glass. That's stuck with me for a while.

Yes! Final Destination comes in a poor, derivative second.
When I was a kid? (8? 12?) my mom told me about a movie she and my dad saw. In it, a guy was decapitated, and his headless body was shown writhing and in convulsions. I was all, "Mom, why did you tell me that?" But now I'm curious what it was. She would have told me this in the mid-'70s, but IIRC it was in the late '60s when she saw it.
Maybe I should post this in movies. But I'm afraid no one will know what the movie is, and I'll start to fear my mom was just fucking with me....
She was taken to the Prickly Ball Hedgehog Hospital
I love that a specialized hospital for hedgehogs exists. And it has such a great name!

Well, the elevator thing took me by surprise, b/c you think he's escaped, but then WHIRRRRRRRRRRRRR - SCHONK!!!
But the glass one, yeah, that's a good one.
Are there a lot of freaky deaths in The Omen ? I have, like, no idea what the movie is like, but I have it on my DVR. Actually, do not answer my question since if I have remained ignorant this long, I may as well embrace it until I watch the movie.
What are people doing for Halloween/this weekend?
I know when I saw the movie I thought the Rottweilers were Doberman Pinschers. I'm not sure if we already owned a Dobie at that time, but my love was pretty much cemented.
I just noticed that Bravo did a 30 Even Scarier Movie Moments followup to their 100 Scariest Movie Moments that introduced me to Audition. Oldboy makes the list. As well it should, although it's the premise of the movie that squicks me more than the moment they mention.
I was reading a book about the British People (by an American expat) and she had a whole chapter on their deep and abiding love for hedgehogs. That children's charities languished while people funded hedgehog hospitals. It's bred to the bone.
Some friends of Bob's who have a projector setup are doing a party with a screening of Halloween. I think we might go to that.
