Fred: It's the pictures in my mind that are getting me. It's like being stuck in a really bad movie with those Clockwork Orange clampy things on my eyeballs. Wesley: Why imagine? Reality's disturbing enough.

aurelia, I hope that despite everything, you'll manage to have a good birthday today.

And I hope that the coming year will be wonderful for you.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Somebody tell Aims that Dirty Jobs last night featured an hour's worth of Mike Rowe on a camel farm! With some very actually cuddly camels!

Ann, that's a ferret.

Yay for Cindy's no-cancer!

Happy Birthday, aurelia!

(Because it would have felt too weird to put all three of those in one post.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy birthday, aurelia!

I am having a classic last day at work already. My monthly Metrocard had expired yesterday, so I had to get a new one, but I've had the monthly for so long, I forgot what a single ride costs. So I'll have to put more money on it to get home. Then, since I lost my building ID last week, I've had to sign in every morning, and today was the first time the security guy remembered my name.
