Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Ooh baby! Scooby Doo & Velma As Vampire & Zombie Hunters

I've mentioned my Velma crush, right?

hwæt

Rufus was less articulate than even Scooby Doo, and was voiced by Nancy Travis.

Except in A Sitch In Time, when he was voiced by Michael Dorn, but that was an alternate reality.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Fuuuuck. I couldn't fall asleep last night, then I woke up at 5:30 worrying about work. Just as I was thinking I should just get up, of course I fell back asleep. Now I'm going to be late for work. But I guess I really don't care about that!

Anyone watching NASA TV? They're supposed to launch the Ares 1-X test vehicle today.

Oh, they just said they're currently looking at launching at 9:24 a.m. EST. The countdown is holding at 4 minutes.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Yeah Jesse, I wouldn't so much worry about that.

I keep staying up too late. I need to stop it, I feel like wet yuck in the morning.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Harking back to the toenail fungus discussion -- you know what worked like a charm for me? Cutting the affected toenails down as far as I could, then for the next two weeks smearing on some Vick's Vapo-Rub before I went to bed.

Way WAY cheaper than Lamisil, which also has some nasty side effects involving the liver. Best "folk" remedy I've ever tried.

This is cool. I think.

CTA might have Apple on Red Line

Will riders of the Chicago Transit Authority's Red Line trains be pulling into the Apple iTrain station any time soon?

That's the question being posed after CTA officials today confirmed they were in talks with Apple over the technological giant's plans to fork over millions to refurbish the North/Clybourn station.

The cash-strapped mass transit system would receive up to $4 million to refurbish inside and out of the Lincoln Park station at 1599 N. Clybourn Ave., officials said.

In exchange, Apple would receive first choice of advertising at the subway station, and it would have rights of first refusal of naming rights "if that was something the CTA were to offer," CTA spokeswoman Noelle Gaffney said.

That station does sorta' suck.

Captain Mal returns to TV, sort of (video)

Captain Malcolm Reynolds was glimpsed briefly on ABC's "Castle," with Nathan Fillion dressing as his "Firefly" character on Monday's episode (context: it's a Halloween costume).

"Didn't you wear that 5 years ago? ... Don't you think you should move on?"
